Story of the Shelf-Sitters + Giveaway!

We all have them - the books that collect dust, having been bought ages ago, never read, barely touched, put in moving boxes, unpacked from moving boxes, STILL not read... well, my case may be somewhat worse than others. So we all really want to actually READ these books eventually, don't we?  How about we institute a challenge? I challenge myself, and any of you who are sympathetic to the cause may join in, to:

**Read ALL of my however-many shelf-sitters within this calendar year 2011! And that means all of them, folks, make no mistake.  See my current list by scrolling to the bottom of this page and checking out the LibraryThing widget with all the pretty covers.** (this challenge better known as Off the Shelf by Bookish Ardour, I realize now! - also see widget on upper-right to join!)**
And what part do you guys play in all of this? You can request books from my pile that you would like to see reviewed first. Please feel free to message me or comment on the blog about which books from the list really pique your interest and those will go up as the first reviews of the year. I can count on you guys for feedback, right?  Especially when I throw in a GIVEAWAY for the winning poster who picks one book from the TBR pile that they would like to see reviewed first! Yes, so I am giving away a beautiful copy of Emily's Good Nightmares (of Emily the Strange fame) to this lucky poster, and here are the boring rules:
    Emily's Good Nightmares
*** Your job is to leave me a comment to this post, telling me what book(s) you would most like to see reviewed from the LibraryThing widget at the bottom of this page.  The winner will be selected from these posts by this Friday, Jan. 15th using Random.org.  You do NOT have to be a follower of the blog, and you do NOT have to post my giveaway on Facebook, or create your own blog post about my giveaway or anything else ridiculous!  Contest is only open to US and Canada residents.  And please post your e-mail address in your comment so that I can contact the winner!
